Independence

Happy Independence Day!
This is the only fireworks shot my camera managed to capture before I realized I wasn't actually looking at the fireworks we waited two hours to see.

Money Cat$ and Meta Cats

I recently did an Etsy shop update, and there are new cat pouch/bag colors to be had!
There are also these guys! Cat change purses a.k.a. Money Cat$

I like the mom and baby cats together.

I've also been experimenting with clear vinyl and glitter/confetti. (Note the cat inside a cat a.k.a. Meta Cat.)

Studio Redux

Redoing my studio so I can actually be creative in it, instead of just pushing piles of trash around then going to the kitchen for a cookie.

Here are some Instagram sneak peaks!
There are also new cat pouch colors on the way!

Maymont

Yesterday Jonathan and I went to Maymont Park here in Richmond to take pictures of new items for the Etsy shop and also so I could look at the bunnies. . .
The weather was so perfect! Richmond weather is so confused, before Spring even started we were having crazy hot days, and now it has mellowed out and realized what month is it.
New pouches are a black cat carry-all (with a gold printed face) and a ombre dyed geode bag. You can purchase them here and here !

I also made J take pictures of me in some vines:
Sweater- Cheap Monday
Fungi Crop Top- Leah Goren
 Skirt- Need Supply Co.
Boots- Jefferey Campbell
Cat Clutch- Fill it with Diamonds

And here is a cute bunny that lives in Maymont drinking water:

Apartment Scenes and Some News

Plants in the windows with a Captain Kangaroo cup.

A cross stitch of Robert E. Lee I have been working on forever. I just really got out of the groove, but I think I'm back! I hope to have him finished soon, even though I really like the way he looks unfinished. I'm sure I'll be okay with him completed, because I will be so proud!

Sabo Kappa stickers. I'm a little obsessed with cacti/stickers/San-X/Japan right now (and always).

Bedroom.

And here is a little sneak peak of a project I am working on:
Soon I am going to hand color these guys and they will become bags! There is also another one in the works that is even more exciting so get ready.

Ornamental

Time for Christmas decorations!
I really love Christmas, and I guess I collect ornaments? But that's the point of ornaments?
My mom gave me all of my childhood ornaments when I moved out of the house, so I have more than most people may age. This is 24 years worth, people! Not that I don't actively add to the collection whenever I find a good one. Recently I've been obsessed with the kind that are open on one side with little trinkets inside to create a scene.
Ah, my beautiful tree and globes and PRESENTS.
  My Mt Rushmore ornament!
Some of my favorite vintage ones, and a little Abraham Lincoln nutcracker from Gettysburg, holding the Gettysburg Address!

Thursday night I went to Need Supply's event in conjunction with Wolverine Boots. If you entered the raffle to win a pair of Wolverine's you got a goodie bag with the possibility of a $100 gift card. So today I went to check and see if me or Jonathan won it and we did!
I never win anything, so this is like crazy for me! I can't wait to decide what I want! There are so many choices! Gahh!! Also I saw James Spader walking down Cary St. I would rather have seen JGL or Abraham Lincoln, but Spader will do.

While in Carytown we went to Bygones and Jonathan bought me a cute new skirt.

(Don't mind my face :-/)
Skirt- vintage
Turtleneck- American Apparel
Tights-American Apparel
Boots-Target

Now I just need to go back and get that velvet cape. . .
