Ornamental

Time for Christmas decorations!
I really love Christmas, and I guess I collect ornaments? But that's the point of ornaments?
My mom gave me all of my childhood ornaments when I moved out of the house, so I have more than most people may age. This is 24 years worth, people! Not that I don't actively add to the collection whenever I find a good one. Recently I've been obsessed with the kind that are open on one side with little trinkets inside to create a scene.
Ah, my beautiful tree and globes and PRESENTS.
  My Mt Rushmore ornament!
Some of my favorite vintage ones, and a little Abraham Lincoln nutcracker from Gettysburg, holding the Gettysburg Address!

Thursday night I went to Need Supply's event in conjunction with Wolverine Boots. If you entered the raffle to win a pair of Wolverine's you got a goodie bag with the possibility of a $100 gift card. So today I went to check and see if me or Jonathan won it and we did!
I never win anything, so this is like crazy for me! I can't wait to decide what I want! There are so many choices! Gahh!! Also I saw James Spader walking down Cary St. I would rather have seen JGL or Abraham Lincoln, but Spader will do.

While in Carytown we went to Bygones and Jonathan bought me a cute new skirt.

(Don't mind my face :-/)

Woodsy Allen

I went home to my parent's house on Saturday to help my mom make her traditional Christmas Chex-Mix (!!!) (also, I have eaten all most all of it already), and I made Jonathan take pictures of me in the woods!
Sweater- Need Supply Co.
Dress- Need Supply Co
Velvet Leggings- American Apparel
Desert Boots-Target
Suede Hair Bow- American Apparel
I really love this sweater! I look like a cute goat, but I think I'm okay with that. I also really love these leggings, even though I'm generally opposed to leggings. These are such a gross/beautiful color though.
Dekota hates them, but they're so ugly I wish they were my furniture.
When I eventually get a real camera I will be updating more often (Mom shoutout for letting me use her camera for this!).
Christmas decorations coming soon!

First Post!

So this is the first post of (hopefully) many!
So I think I'll just jump right in and do an outfit post,
here I am:

Sweater- H&M
Dress-Urban Outfitters
Tights- American Apparel
Shoes-Forever 21

I wore this to the mall (but with boots) to buy those shoes, since I have been obsessing over them for a week! Also I completely forgot what it is like to go to the mall on a Saturday, not wearing an Abercrombie shirt and jeans. Yeah, teenagers still think I'm weird.

I think I might love these shoes? Even though they made me snap my ankle, and sent me hurtling onto the sofa:

I'm trying to get used to walking in them, so I also wore them to the antique mall where I knew I wouldn't be moving very fast.

Jacket- Need Supply Co.,
 Skirt- H&M
Shirt- Urban Outfitters
Shoes- Forever 21
Clutch-American Apparel
First post complete!
